Are has been working with water mist technology at RISE since the late 1990's.
"I am honored, and look forward to the work ahead", says Are, and shares an insight into his vision: “I believe there is a great potential for increasing the knowledge and market for water mist and that IWMA is the key to do this. But we have to look at better ways to collaborate both within the water mist community and the rest of the safety community”
Are takes over after chief scientist at RISE, Ragnar Wighus, who has been IWMA president for many years. Ragnar stepped down due to his retirement.
We thank Ragnar for his efforts, and congratulate Are!
