Ragni Fjellgaard Mikalsen has, starting March 1st, worked on her PhD thesis on smoldering fires in biofuels through the research program EMRIS (Emerging Risks from Smoldering Fires).

She will be working on the thesis during the next three years, in a collaboration between Stord/Haugesund University College, SP Fire Research AS and other collaborators.
