New fire and rescue school

In the state budget for 2021, the Norwegian Government propose to allocate 139.1 million NOK to DSB and Statsbygg for the establishment of a new professional school for fire and rescue. RISE Fire Research believes that investing in fire and fire safety in Norway is very important, and the establishment of a new school for fire and rescue is a good step in the right direction.

“We welcome a good collaboration between the different groups working with fire safety in Norway”, says Nina K. Reitan, CEO of RISE Fire Research.
