In this report we present our evaluation of regulations for the use of the extinguishing gas IG-541 in construction works designed for overnight stays.
The report concludes that the relevant standards for gas extinguishing systems do not give a basis for the use of IG-541 in construction works designed for overnight stays without additional documentation.
The study is carried out on behalf of the Norwegian Building Authority (DiBK) and the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB)
